Venue: Centre de Recerca Matemàtica
Room: Auditorium
SCHEDULE
EVENT SUMMARY
Introduction
This workshop aims to foster the interaction between researchers in Numerical Linear Algebra around several topics of high current interest, namely:
- Randomized NLA
- NLA in High Performance Computing
- NLA in Industry
- Numerical Multilinear Algebra in Machine Learning
- Quantum algorithms in NLA
The ultimate goal is to create cross-national working groups on these topics.
The workshop will include lectures by renowned researchers in each of these topics, as well as contributed talks by other attendees. There will also be slots for interactive activities, including breakout group discussions, problem-driven working sessions, reporting and feedback sessions, and moderated cross-disciplinary discussions.
